Description:
Cloud Dev 2.0 is a set of APIs and Python scripts which provide shell access and http access to containers in AWS ECS
orchestrated docker clusters. It has been developed using Django and boto3 which has APIs to access AWS
infrastructure resources like docker container IPs , ports and shell. The project can scale to N number of containers
as EC2 machines are scaled by AWS Elastic Container Service ECS. In real time, it has been observed it scaled to 1000
containers with 4 16GB EC2 containers
Responsibilities:
• Research and Find solutions to access containers in remote EC2 Instances
• How to AWS SDK BOTO calls to manage AWS resources
• Develop source code from scratch and deploy Django APIs
• Develop a CLI tool which can call Django APIs create resources like docker containers, load balancers to access
http applications running in containers
• Successfully delivered to project on August 2023 and provided operational support as well
